Competitions & Membership

A variety of competitions and events are conducted throughout the calendar year. These are open to all club members and visitors.

Saturday Competition

  • With the exception of the hottest days of the year, tee-off times are between 6:30am and 8.00 am and between 11:00am and 12:00pm.
  • Please refer to the Club’s Heat Policy for changes to tee times when the forecast temperature is 37ºC or above.
  • Players should book their tee-off time on OneGolf at https://kapunda.1golf.com.au
  • The competition fee is $5.00 per player. Green fees payable for non-members.

Women's Mid Week Competition

  • This competition is held on Wednesday mornings with nominations required by 9:15am from April to September and by 8.00am from October to March.
  • Throughout the year our women members play for a variety of trophies and enjoy visiting nearby clubs and playing host to visitors.

Twilight Golf

  • A great evening of golf – Value Plus Here Folks!
  • A nine hole Stableford competition complimented by excellent light snacks afterwards.
  • Tees open from 4:00pm each Wednesday afternoon of the daylight saving months, except on the hottest days of the year.
  • Please refer to the Club’s Heat Policy for changes to tee times when the forecast temperature is 37ºC or above.
  • Members competition fee $5.00.
  • Non-Members competition fee $10.00.
  • BBQ at $5.00 – hamburgers available.

Midweek Thursday Mixed Competition

Hot Weather and Heat Policy

  • The committee urges golfers to use discretion and not to play in excessive or oppressive conditions.
  • Please refer to the Club’s Heat Policy. It is available for download from this website and a copy is on the notice board in the clubhouse.
  • The Heat Policy along with the Course Closure Policy are both included in the Kapunda Golf Club Regulations. The Regulations are available on the notice board in the clubhouse.

Membership Fees

The Full Membership year runs from April 1st 2024 until March 31st 2025.
*Eftpos available for paying fees

Full Membership (Full year) $425 pa
(Full playing and voting rights)

Six Day Membership $365 pa
(Full voting rights. Cannot play on Saturday unless green fees paid)

Winter Membership (8 months April – Nov ) $315 pa
(No voting rights. Full playing rights)

Summer Membership (8 months Sept – April) $315 pa
(No voting rights. Full playing rights)

Junior Membership U18 $80 pa
(Less than 18 years of age at date of application and renewal. No voting rights. Full playing rights)

Junior Membership 18-21 years $198 pa
(18-21 years of age at the date of application or renewal. No voting rights. Full playing rights)

Scrapes Membership (5 months Nov – March) $165 pa
(No voting rights. Full playing rights. This membership is only available to current members of a scrapes course and who have a golf link number)

The Club’s membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March of the following year. Pro rata rates are available during the year - please contact the Secretary, kapundagolfclub@outlook.com for pro rata rates.

Course open for green fee players on Saturdays from 2:30pm and and on Thursdays from 1.00pm.

Green Fees

$20.00 per day
$15.00 for visiting clubs
$15.00 for guests playing with members

Reciprocal Playing Rights

Reciprocal playing rights have been established with the clubs listed below. Note that some restrictions may apply. Members should advise clubhouse staff as to the arrangement when you visit the respective courses. Proof of identity through your Golf Link Card or membership tag will be required. Reciprocal clubs are:

  • Burra Golf Club
  • Lameroo Golf Club
  • Maitland Golf Club
  • Clare Golf Club – 50% reduction on green fee rates
  • Mt. Pleasant Golf Club – limited to four rounds per member per year
  • Barmera Golf Club – 50% reduction on green fee rates
  • Balaklava Golf Club - 50% reduction on green fee rates
